Michelle Keegan, the 39-year-old actress, shared her eating habits on a live radio show and spoke about her love for mayonnaise with Chinese food. This confession not only surprised the show's hosts, Jordan North, Chris Stark, and Sian Welby, but also sparked an interesting conversation.

Unusual Eating Habits

Keegan humorously said: 'I put mayonnaise on Chinese food and I don't think that's a northern habit, it's really disgusting. But I love it!' This confession led Chris to ask her when she adds mayonnaise to her food and whether she pours it on chicken pancakes. Michelle replied: 'I use it right away, but not on pancakes. [I put it on] chow mein.'

Unique Ways to Use Mayonnaise

During the conversation, Jordan asked her: 'Do you use mayonnaise in a spray form?' and Michelle jokingly said she is 'immersed' in it. She explained: 'I mix chow mein with a fork and dip it. Or I can dip chicken wings in mayonnaise and then eat them. It's a bit unpleasant, isn't it?' Chris reassured her that 'it's good that we all have our flaws.' Sian also joked in between, saying: 'Finally, we found a flaw for Michelle Keegan.'

Michelle's husband, Mark Wright, had previously said: 'She loves Chinese food and curry. We both have a balanced life and work hard at the gym to stay healthy.'

Returning to Work After Childbirth

The actress was on the show to promote her new drama, 'The Blame,' in which she plays DI Emma Curran, marking her first role since giving birth to her daughter, Palma, last March. Michelle recently admitted that returning to work after childbirth has been 'scary' for her. Regarding the series 'The Blame,' she said: 'Returning to work after having a baby is really scary. But the production was very supportive, and I was well taken care of; it felt like working with family.'

Challenges of Private Life

Michelle had previously spoken about the challenges she and Mark faced due to their plans to start a family. In an interview, she said: 'At the time of our marriage, I was clear that I wanted to have a family. But since we didn't decide to have children, a lot of rumors arose. We can cope with it, but at one point, a story about it was published every week, and my family would ask me, so I decided not to speak publicly about that part of my life.'

She added: 'I turn 38 this year, and as I get older, I feel more confident about my boundaries.'
