Max Verstappen, the famous Formula One driver and star of the Red Bull team, triumphed against 100 influencers in an exciting karting race at Silverstone. This race, which was broadcast live on Disney+, clearly demonstrated that Verstappen has extraordinary skills not only on the Formula One track but also in karting.
Race Progress and Challenges
Starting from the back of the grid, Verstappen astonishingly reached 37th place by the first lap. Along the way, he overtook several competitors who were in lower positions. One of these drivers was Henry Williams, a sports presenter, who was in 73rd place, and Verstappen controversially passed him in the second lap of the race.
As the race continued, Verstappen quickly moved forward and reached 4th place by the tenth lap. At this moment, any driver who passed him was forced to retire from the race. Finally, in lap 14, Verstappen managed to overtake Dutch journalist Jacky Martens and secured the victory for himself.

After his victory, Verstappen spoke about his feelings: "When I went to the starting line and saw 100 karts in front of me, I was a bit worried. But after the first lap and seeing the chaos, I felt we could control it, and from there, I was able to enjoy hunting down the competitors." He also added: "Returning to karting and recalling my early days was really exciting for me. This track is incredibly designed, and I had a great day."
Meanwhile, Henry Williams, the sports presenter, commented on the race: "This experience was really fun, and Verstappen was a great and cool athlete."
