Macklemore referenced New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft in his Instagram post, challenging him to join him by donating one million dollars to Palestinians. This challenge seems to have been effective, as Kraft immediately announced after the donation news that he intends to donate two million dollars to help Palestinians.
This development comes as Ed Sheeran faces significant backlash from his fans, many of whom have distanced themselves from him on social media. Following these events, all other supporting artists have also withdrawn from his tour.
Macklemore and Support for Palestinians
Macklemore mentioned six organizations in his post that directly help Palestinians, including Anwar, Gaza Soup Kitchen, and the Palestinian Children’s Relief Committee. He continued, "I will donate the entire one million dollars of my net income from Ed Sheeran's tour to these six organizations and invite Robert Kraft to join me.
