On Friday, she wore a white outfit, despite clear rules prohibiting all team members and guests from wearing short clothing in the pit lane. Consequently, her brother, Sebastian Montoya, received a penalty from the race officials.
The Team's Defense Efforts
The Prima team defended Paulina, claiming that she is a guest of the team and should therefore be exempt from the rules. However, race officials stated that according to the FIA international sporting code, all guests are considered "participants," and thus the penalty is valid.
