Carrick emphasized that his job is still right for him, saying: "I know the club and understand my role within it. I know what the expectations are from us, and these are just rumors that are being circulated here." He added that, in his view, discussing his future at Manchester United is of no importance and stressed that this matter is not on his mind at the moment.
This young coach pointed out that his team is not currently in a crisis, stating: "We are not in a bad period. We have only lost two out of six games, and that does not mean the world is collapsing. We have performed well in all matches, and I don't feel we are in a real crisis."
