James also told his fans that this time away from the stage has been an opportunity for him to work on a new album. He released an album titled "Murder at the Gates" on July 1, which was written for a new musical directed by Steven Sater. He stated about this project: 'I didn't want my health issues to prevent me from promoting this project because I've spent 13 years of my life on it.'
James also addressed the challenges related to leaving the tour and his feelings about it, saying: 'It was very difficult, but you have to turn negatives into positives. This is something I've talked about with my close friends.'
