An unfortunate incident occurred for the passengers of the Boeing 737 flight when the ceiling of the aircraft collapsed over them during the flight. This incident happened on Tuesday, after taking off from Mashhad Hashemi Nejad International Airport.

Emergency Declaration
The pilot was forced to declare an emergency and turned the flight back to Mashhad Airport. Fortunately, the aircraft landed safely at the airport. Reports indicate that the incident was caused by a tire blowout during takeoff, and it also appears that one of its engines was damaged.
In this incident, some passengers were injured due to falling objects from the overhead compartments, but fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported. The flight operated by Sepahan Airlines was carrying 127 passengers and crew members to Kermanshah.
Temporary Closure of Mashhad Airport
