Lindblad's Challenging Path in Formula One
Lindblad, who has the ability to drive one of the fastest and most dangerous cars in the world at the highest level of motorsport, is still not allowed to drive on local streets. He shared the news of his success on Instagram, stating that this test was "an easy success" for him.
In this test, Lindblad scored 46 out of 50 in the multiple-choice section and 52 out of 75 in the hazard perception section, achieving significant scores. This success brought him one step closer to his goal, but his score in the hazard perception section drew attention from many fans. Some believe that due to his experiences in Formula One, he may overlook certain hazards.
Criticism of the Theory Test Software
One user on Reddit wrote: "Maybe he doesn't see some things as hazards because of his reflexes as a Formula One driver, as he can maintain control of the car." However, another fan pointed out the flaws in the hazard perception test software, saying that "if you click just a fraction of a second too early, you might get a score of zero."
Lindblad took his test in the UK after returning from Madrid, where he finished ninth at the Spanish Grand Prix. In this race, he faced many challenges and crashed his car into the wall at turn 13 during practice. Fortunately, the young driver was unharmed.
His crash at the Madrid circuit raised concerns about the dangers of this track, which was hosting its first Formula One race. George Russell, a Mercedes driver, commented on the track: "This track is insane, and this corner... is a fast right. Many corners are very fast, and the barriers come back towards the track. If you go out, you hit the wall at a different angle."
Despite these challenges, Lindblad is now looking towards his future in the world of motorsport, and passing the theory test may be his first step towards independent driving on the roads of the UK.
