Vicky Pattison, star of the show "Geordie Shore," revealed the pain and suffering caused by her sister Laura's diagnosis of uterine cancer. Laura recently announced on Instagram that she has been secretly battling cancer and was unsure of her chances of survival.
Fighting Cancer and Its Impact on Life
Laura also stated that she is awaiting new test results and hopes to be told that she does not have cancer. However, Vicky, who is raising funds for the cancer charity "Capa Phil," heartbreakingly revealed that Laura is still under medical care and this fight is very important to her.
Sisterly Support in Difficult Times
Vicky spoke about this issue, saying: 'I have been lucky in many ways, but this year my sister, Laura, is fighting uterine cancer. Hearing this news at the age of 34, that she needs to have a complete hysterectomy, is very difficult.' With tearful eyes, she continued: 'The dream of having a family and having children is no longer possible for her, and she has to accept this reality.'
Despite these challenges, Vicky referred to Laura as her biggest supporter in planning for motherhood. She and her husband, Ercan Ramadan, have decided to become parents, and Vicky has shared this with her sister.
She added: 'Laura told me she would fill my children with sweets and then go so I can sort them out.' This joke reflects Laura's strong and supportive spirit in these circumstances.
The sisters participated together in a charity challenge that helped raise awareness for breast cancer. Vicky stated that these challenges remind her that life is uncertain and one must seize life's opportunities.
She also discussed her experiences in charity work and meeting women who are battling cancer, emphasizing that these experiences are very valuable. Vicky ultimately said that these struggles motivate her to pay more attention to her personal life and pursue her dreams.
