This group competes in a complex game of identification, trust, and betrayal for a cash prize of up to £100,000 for the charity of their choice.
Initial Challenges and Tensions
In the trailer, the players head towards the castle in their luxury cars and then go to a church to prepare for their first mission. Maya, looking at her teammates, jokingly says, 'If this is the last time we are all friends, then good luck!'
The trailer then moves to the first round table and tense moment, where Claudia tells them: 'I have chosen my betrayers. The game has begun!' She continues: 'There are now killers among you. There are people here who intend to deceive you. Fame will not help them.'
This news comes after Richard Osman, writer and television star, claimed that a full season of 'Betrayers' was canceled due to an unbroadcastable conversation. He mentioned in a podcast that the producers were forced to stop filming.
Richard said about this: 'In a series of episodes, a topic was heavily debated in the castle, and this caused us to be unable to continue filming.' He also stated that the first Australian season of 'Betrayers' is considered the best season, but due to an obvious betrayer and a loyal group that is easily deceived, this season is very disappointing.
This new season of 'Famous Betrayers' will air two nights a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 20:00, and is expected to attract a large audience with its appeal.
