Rami Malek impressed everyone at the premiere of 'The Man I Love' at the Toronto International Film Festival. The 45-year-old actor, alongside his 40-year-old co-star Tom Sturridge, asked one of the photographers to check his camera and take a look at the photo while posing for the photographers.
Rami Malek's Unique Style
Rami Malek drew significant attention in a blue shirt with bold patterns under a navy velvet jacket and black trousers. He lifted his sunglasses to get a better look at the photo and then returned to Tom to smile for the photographers. Tom Sturridge also looked great standing next to Rami in a stylish black jacket, white shirt, and black tie.

Rami's Role in 'The Man I Love'
The film 'The Man I Love' is set in the vibrant New York City of the late 1980s and tells the story of Jimmy George (Rami Malek), a performing artist struggling with AIDS while searching for another big role. Rami mentioned his concerns about playing a gay man after portraying Freddie Mercury in 'Bohemian Rhapsody' at a press conference, saying, "When I read the script, I said, 'I can't do this. The similarities are too much. This could be problematic.'"
However, he concluded that he needed to overcome his fears and trust the director. Rami spoke about the film's director, Ira Sachs, saying, "He is a unique filmmaker with a specific vision."
At the Cannes Festival, the film received eight minutes of standing ovation from the audience. Sachs commented on casting Rami for the role, saying, "You need someone who has a kind of mystery and also radiates a true star quality."
Rami Malek went on to reflect on his experiences in the film, stating, "This was one of the biggest risks I've taken in my life, and it was worth it. This film is about people who create and what the cost of that is."
