The film Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo is recognized as an independent and international sequel in the Bad Lieutenant franchise. The film tells the story of detective Yabuki (played by Shun Oguri), a corrupt and gambling-addicted police officer in Tokyo. He is forced to collaborate with a mysterious FBI agent (played by James) to find the missing daughter of a powerful American politician (played by Liu Morgan), leading them into a violent conflict with the Yakuza.
The film is set to be released in Japanese cinemas on October 23, and its official release date in the UK has yet to be announced. At the event, James shared joyful and intimate moments alongside producer Sam Persson.
Romantic Rumors and Future Projects
