Celine Dion stepped out of her car on Wednesday with the support of her bodyguard to meet her fans outside her hotel in Paris. This marked the second time this month that her 58-year-old bodyguard gently assisted her in preparing to greet the crowd.
Joyful and Heartwarming Moments
Celine Dion, with a smile on her face, climbed onto the car and waved to her fans gathered outside the French hotel. She looked chic and attractive in a black jacket from Givenchy, complemented by a long gray coat from the same designer. Dion also carried a £2,690 handbag from The Row and wore oversized sunglasses from Givenchy, creating a stunning appearance.
Return to the Stage
The beloved singer is staying in Paris for five weeks, marking her first series of concerts since the cancellation of the remaining dates of her Courage World Tour in 2023. On the opening night of her residency, she emotionally announced her decision to face her health challenges as her "reason for living." Dion was diagnosed with Stiff-Person Syndrome (SPS) in December 2022, which causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms.
Celine spoke about her health challenges, saying, "By living with it day by day, I've gotten used to it and decided to make it my reason for living." She also reminded her fans that we all may be going through tough times and urged them to share positive energy with one another.
Striving to Return to Ideal Form
Celine Dion has been following intense rehabilitation programs on her road to recovery, engaging in physical exercises and vocal therapies. To strengthen her body, she attends Pilates sessions three times a week and ballet and barre classes twice a week. She also continues her home workouts, which include weights and exercise machines. Dion has expressed satisfaction with her progress, stating that her flexibility has improved.
Celine Dion is currently meeting her fans in Paris with a great spirit, giving them hope by announcing her new concert plans. This residency will include 16 shows in the fall of 2026 and 10 additional dates in May 2027, with tickets selling out immediately after her return announcement.
